Quite some time has passed since I first saw a small orange Spitz; it was in the square of my
hometown and was on a leash held by an English lady. What really caught my attention was the
elegance in the way the dog moved and the attentive way that it watched it’s owner’s moves.
I was hooked ! A few years later I decided to treat myself to a present: a Spitz puppy,
even though it wasn’t a breed that was easy to find as it’s not as common or as wanted
here in Italy as in countries like England, Germany or the US where they are highly appreciated.
However, after a great deal of trial and tribulation (!) I eventually succeeded in finding a
bitch called Beba with a very beautiful, thick orange coat. I then contacted the German Spitz Club
and found a German dog. And now, for the last ten years I’ve dedicated my time to making this
super breed more popular and I’m always looking for quality animals with looks to enrich my own
dogs’ bloodlines. Poms are exceptional dogs and I want to make them more so.
